Treat your child to an artsy birthday of pure creativity, joy, and mess at the Portland Child Art Studio. PCAS staff members will be there to facilitate an hour or more of teacher led art activities, including play-based drawing, collage, painting, fingerpainting, monoprinting, and sculpture. For those who really want to get messy, kids can even throw cotton balls covered with paint at the wall!
Artsy Birthday parties are specifically designed to combine art, fun, and celebration for the children, however, they can also be tailored to you and your child's specific wishes. For older kids, we can organize the art time to accommodate specific projects, such as printmaking or collaborative paintings and sculptures. We want your child's birthday experience at PCAS to be magical and messy and uniquely unforgettable. Please don't hesitate to share your creative vision for your child's celebration with us. One large table is reserved for your food, deserts, and presents. The party family may arrive up to 20 minutes early to set up this table area. Feel free to bring festive balloons and decorations. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide napkins, plates, silverware, etc. We request that cake, and other foods, are given to the kids after the painting activities are finished. Our space comfortably accommodates about 12 kids at one time. Beyond 12 kids, we charge $10 per additional child, and can accommodate a maximum of 15 kids. Please understand that accommodating more than 15 kids at once takes a toll on the studio space in terms of material usage, safety, and comfort. *Reserving the space for 1 and 1/2 hours - beginning with about 1 hour+ of art fun and activity - costs $195. This package is a good choice for the littlest ones. **Reserving the space for 2 hours - beginning with about 1.25+ hours of art fun and activity - costs $245. ***Reserving the space for 2 and 1/2 hours - beginning with about 1.75+ hours of art fun and activity - costs $295. This package is usually suitable only for older children and those who want to experience more specific and in depth art projects. Deposit: a non-refundable $50 deposit is due two weeks before the party date. This deposit is included in the total fee.
